NJ Midwives- hollistic, quality obstetrical care

The midwifery Model of care is an excellent one

Delivering with a midwife gives patients more personalized attention, more control over the labor process and fewer cesarian sections. Our "Why Choose Midwifery?" page sums it up perfectly.

Our practice is a collaborative one

That means that our doctors and midwives work as team. Our patients get the all the advantages of using a midwife and the reassurance that an excellent Obstetrician is available on standby should things go awry. It also means that you can see a midwife and still get an epidural for pain relief.

We have an excellent team

Our seasoned midwives have decades of combined experience in women's health care. They are all board certified and licensed in midwifery, and dedicated to providing their patients with best experience possible. They keep abreast of the latest in midwifery, and even participate in the training of the next generation of midwives.

We deliver at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro

You can get the "home birth experience" with the safety of delivering in a hospital. We attend all of our births in the beautiful setting at UMCPP.  Our hospital opened its all new state of the art facility in 2012, and our newborns are cared for by neonatal specialists from the world renowned Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

We take your insurance

Princeton Midwifery Care and Delaware Valley OBGYN believe that high quality personalized care should be available to everyone. We also participate in plans offered through the exchanges from the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).
